Below you will find some items from the Napoleonic Wars,

 

 One Shako is post the period by about 1 to 8 years , but I included it to show the type of wool plumes that were common during the Napoleonic period .

 

The Lancer headgear is interesting as it still has the original red wool plume for O/R.

 

The other head gear below shows the other  material used on helmets....

 

The German Headgear shows the thin material used for the plume.....very interesting

 

The British bayonet belt plates give a good idea on what they looked like.....
